Normandy Real Estate Partners Celebrates Completion of Multimillion-Dollar Renovation Program at Continental Plaza in Hackensack, New Jersey < Previous  |  Back to List  |  Next >

Hackensack, N.J. (Mar. 24, 2008) — Normandy Real Estate Partners, one of the largest real estate owners and operators in the Boston to Washington, D.C. corridor, celebrated the completion its multimillion-dollar renovation program at Continental Plaza with a highly successful unveiling for the commercial real estate brokerage community. Over 200 real estate professionals attended the event which was held in one of the dramatic new lobbies of the a three building class A office complex totaling 650,000 square feet in Hackensack, N.J.
 
The Walsh Company LLC served as the project owner’s representative at Continental Plaza.  Exterior renovations included significant improvements to the existing pedestrian bridges between the parking decks and buildings, which are highlighted by translucent canopies, and the addition of a dramatic landscaping program.  
 
Interior improvements included renovating the ground floor lobbies of all three buildings (401, 411 and 433 Hackensack Avenue) with distinctive wood ceilings, cherry wood paneling, high-end carpeting and lighting, contemporary furnishings and new state-of-the-art touch screen directories and flat panel LCDs.  All of the elevators were refurbished with wood wall panels, stone flooring and stainless ceiling modules. Additionally, the lower concourse level between buildings 401 and 411 was given a new high-end image to including an upgraded full-service cafeteria; a tenant exclusive gym; a conference center, dry cleaning service and a newsstand.

Continental Plaza is located in the heart of Bergen County at the intersection of Route 4 and Hackensack Avenue in Hackensack. Located on 11.9 acres, the complex provides 650,000 square feet of Class A office space throughout three contemporary office towers. On-site amenities include a conference center, 24-7 security, T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant, dry cleaner, USPS substation, FedEx/UPS drop, full-service bank, cafeteria, Push Fitness Center and a multilevel and interconnected garage with parking for 2,500 vehicles.  Continental Plaza is only five miles from the George Washington Bridge, just 15 minutes from midtown Manhattan and offers easy access to all major destinations throughout the state and the entire New York Metropolitan region.

Newmark Knight Frank Managing Director Frank D. Recine and Executive Managing Director Timothy R. Greiner are the exclusive leasing agents for this facility.  Currently 96,500 square feet is available throughout Continental Plaza, offering 2,000 to 40,000 square feet of contiguous space.
