HACKENSACK, N.J. (JULY 18, 2007) — Normandy Real Estate Partners, one of the largest real estate owners and operators in the Boston to Washington, D.C. corridor, has announced the start of a multimillion-dollar renovation program at Continental Plaza, a three building Class A office complex totaling 650,000 square feet in Hackensack. Normandy has appointed The Walsh Company LLC to manage the renovations in buildings 401 and 411 at Continental Plaza. The renovations are expected to be completed by this fall. Current availability at Continental Plaza includes 100,000 square feet of Class A office space throughout the complex.

Exterior renovations to Continental Plaza will include significant improvements to the existing pedestrian bridges between the parking decks and buildings, and the addition of a dramatic landscaping program.
Interior improvements will include renovating the two-story lobbies of buildings 401 and 411 with distinctive wood ceilings, cherry wood paneling, high end carpeting, contemporary furnishings and new state-of-the-art touch screen directories and flat panel LCDs. All of the elevators will be refurbished with wood wall panels, stone flooring and stainless ceiling modules. Additionally, the lower concourse level between buildings 401 and 411 will be given a new high-end image to include upgraded lobbies; cafeteria with casual seating arrangements; and a new coffee bistro will be added on the concourse level. Building 433, the newest building in the complex, will also be renovated to compliment those in buildings 401 and 411.
Continental Plaza is located in the heart of Bergen County at the intersection of Route 4 and Hackensack Avenue in Hackensack. Located on 11.9 acres, the complex provides 650,000 square feet of Class A office space throughout three contemporary office towers.
